World-class contracting

Purac is Läckeby Water Group’s brand for contracting operations. The basis for our offering is the collective expertise of our personnel. This brings together know-how on processes, construction and contracting with the long and wide experience of our project managers, site managers and commissioning staff. The power to innovate and the capability to build and maintain good relations with customers, suppliers and business partners, both locally and globally, are other success factors.

Purac is a world leader in contracting for treatment of wastewater, process water and drinking water, as well as innovative treatment of biological waste. The contracting business unifies broad know-how and experience with our internally developed and licensed technologies for innovative solutions that deliver increased efficiency and more economical operation. To date, the concept has given us more than 4,000 contracting assignments in 70 countries.

Purac has decades of documented experience and can offer turnkey plants with function guarantees. We design solutions using the latest computer tools, methods and technologies, and then we supply, build and commission the plants for industrial and municipal customers worldwide.

Few other companies can compete with our list of successfully completed contracts for customers with widely differing conditions and requirements. And each plant is unique. Therefore, we are proud of our ability to customise plants and working methods to local conditions; technical, legal, traditional and cultural.

Purac has a presence in eight countries and carries out assignments worldwide. It is particularly important to increase our presence and assignments in the most expansive parts of the world, which accounts for our investment in growth in countries such as China. Purac constantly provides new processes to increase efficiency, decrease operating and maintenance costs, and save space.

CAPure™

CAPure™ is a technology for the treatment of biogas. The gas passes through a working medium that absorbs carbon dioxide, but not methane. This eliminates the otherwise typical release of 2–5 per cent methane into the atmosphere. Therefore, production using CAPure™ does not contribute at all to the greenhouse effect. And there is also an economic bonus that stems from increased production of treated gas.
