Läckeby Water Group is an independent, privately-owned Swedish group, which offers contracting, products and servicing for water treatment and biogas production. We are established on three continents and have to date completed contracts in 70 countries worldwide. With sales of around USD 100 million, Läckeby Water Group is a leading company in its field.

We meet market needs with three brands: Purac for contracting business, Läckeby Products for our key products, and Läckeby Service for our local service organisation. With this set up, we can offer unique total involvement in everything from product deliveries to turnkey treatment plants for both public sector operations and industry. Everything is connected, like the links of a chain.

Optimised plants are based on adaptation of reliable products, which enhance the efficiency of service and maintenance, provide smooth-running plants, etc.

World-class contracts

Purac offers contracting for customers worldwide. We design and build treatment plants for wastewater, drinking water and process water, as well as plants for biogas production and gas treatment. To date, we have completed more than 4,000 contracts in 70 countries worldwide, primarily in Europe and Asia. The contracting business unifies our know-how on processes, design and contracting with our internally-developed and licensed technologies for increased efficiency and more economical operation. There are, for example, methods that make it possible to reduce floor-space needs and operating costs by up to 50 per cent.

Control of key products

Optimal solutions require control of key products. Läckeby Products therefore offers a selection of the most important products for functionality, operational costs and operational reliability in all types of plants. The range covers both internally-developed and licensed products. Läckeby Products pursues its own design, development and production activities. We also have the know-how and experience required to make already innovative designs work in reality, under the conditions that always vary between different plants.

Local service

In local markets, Läckeby Service offers service and maintenance of customers’ plants. The service concept ensures operational reliability and economical running and is based on close proximity to customers, years of local experience and extensive knowledge on the plants in question. Our experienced service technicians are supported by an expert technical team. As a contractor, Läckeby Service can also offer the added value that stems from the exchange of experience between plants.
